Our Story
From Motherhood to Montessori: Building a Bilingual, Nurturing Community
I founded Chonghwa Montessori Children’s House with a simple hope as a parent: to create a stable, safe, and respectful environment where young children can thrive—emotionally, socially, and academically. That hope led me to formally study child development and the Montessori method. I earned my Montessori credential (ages 3–6) and continue to practice Positive Discipline, because I believe children learn best when guidance is both firm and kind—clear boundaries paired with empathy and respect.
During the pandemic, many families experienced sudden disruptions to childcare and daily routine. That period strengthened my commitment to build a dependable, high-quality program for our community. Today, we are a Chinese–English bilingual, Montessori-inspired program, and my mission is centered on serving and helping local families, especially multicultural families. My goal is for every child to feel seen, respected, and confident—developing independence, curiosity, and compassion in a calm, prepared environment.
