Ms.Sherry
Head of School
Ms.Sherry holds a Bachelor's degree in Tourism Management from China and has embarked on a life of exploration, spanning three passports. After relocating to the United States, she pursued her passions as a Montessori teacher, specializing in AMS 3-6 primary education, and as a dedicated Positive Discipline educator. Actively engaged in community volunteer work, she channels her energy into making a positive impact.
Ms.Sherry is not only an enthusiast of culinary delights but also a lover of the great outdoors. She actively participates in the OCAEYC Peer Guide project and serves as a member of the Irvine Child Care Committee, where she contributes to the well-being of the community.
Ms.Layla
Mandarin Teacher
Ms.Layla is originally from China. After graduated from Hangzhou Normal University, she came to the US for her Master program in Early Childhood Education at University of Pittsburgh. She found her love of the Montessori Method during a study abroad trip in Italy. She took AMI training in 2020 from Montessori Institute of San Diego, and now, she's a certified AMI primary teacher. During her free time, she is a foodie, a DIY lover and two cats' mom :)
Ms.Angel
English Teacher
Ms.Angel is originally from Brazil. During her career journey, she has been to many countries of the world. She can speak English, Spanish, Portuguese, and a little bit of Arabic. Ms.Angel is a proud mom of 4 beautiful kids, and during her free time, she loves to work out and dance Zumba.
Mrs.Alveena
English Teacher
Mrs.Alveena is originally from India. She has completed Master's of Arts and a bachelor's of Education in India. She also have completed Early Childhood Education courses from DeAnza College in Cupertino, California. Before Mrs.Alveena came to Irvine, she worked in in a Montessori School as an assistant teacher in the Bay Area.
Mrs.Alveena has two sons, and both of them are in elementary school now. Working with young children and guiding them to grow in all areas is her passion.
Ms.Su
Mandarin Teacher (Sub Teacher)
Prior to working in Early Childhood Education, Ms.Su has been a high school teacher for almost 15 years in China. After that, she moved to Australia with her family and received her diploma of early childhood education and care in Melbourne Australia. Ms. Su encountered Montessori approach after she moved to California. After researching and observing, she was drawn by the Montessori Philosophy and decided to further herself in the Montessori field by completing her AMI Primary Training at Montessori Institute of San Diego.
She believes that the greatest gifts that the teacher can give to children are the roots of responsibility and the wings of independence. Outside of work, Ms. Su is a mother of two kids, and enjoys swimming, cooking, and hiking.
